The Seminole Cultural Arts Council (SCAC) Holds 
Annual Membership and Community Meeting
 
You are invited to join the Seminole Cultural Arts Council (SCAC) for our annual meeting and community get-together on September 24th at 5:00 pm at the Wayne Densch Performing Arts Center & Historic Ritz Theater, 201 S. Magnolia in Sanford.  Mix and mingle with artists, elected officials, our business partners, grant applicants, arts supporters, and leaders of other local arts and culture organizations. No RSVP is necessary, and the event is free and open to the public. 

There will be a brief installation of  the Board of Directors and Executive Directors.  As of October 1st, they will be:  Commissioner Anthony Aramendia (President);  Mary Blake;  Commissioner Bob Dallari;  Josie Foranoce (Secretary);  Charles Holcomb;  Melanie Mucario, Esq.;  Saulius Jankauskas, MD (Vice President);  Steve Nelson (Treasurer);  Abby Sanchez, School Board;  Lisa Snead;  Bonnie Sprung;  Stephen Summers Ph.D.; and Kathryn Townsend.

We will be introducing honored guests including winners of the Artist of the Year Award and the heART for the ARTS Award, as well as grant recipients for FY 2019-2020.

The Seminole Cultural Arts Council (SCAC) is a registered public 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and supports and nurtures the cultural and artistic needs of Seminole County.  The SCAC is an advocate for preservation of local cultural and historic heritage, including performing, literary and visual arts and sciences and serves to sustain, develop and advance the cultural life of Seminole County.
