Seminole Cultural Arts Council's "It's A Wrap" program is a traffic box art program that works with local artists, Seminole County Engineering, local groups and businesses to wrap traffic boxes with artwork reprinted on durable vinyl.
We need YOUR help to sponsor our next traffic box!  We are seeking donations from individuals, groups, and businesses!

Location:
The current phase of this project is focused on the Cultural Corridor of 17/92 , a major road that allows for maximum exposure.

Project Criteria:
  • Permission from Seminole County Engineering, who must be present during install
  • Utility boxes ideally will be located on major roads for maximum exposure, such as SCAC’s 17-92 “cultural corridor”
  • Utility boxes are “wrapped” in vinyl, not painted, to make them maintenance free for 10+ years
  • A call for artists with guidelines must be put out
  • Artwork judged by a panel of art experts
  • Artwork selected is meaningful to the community
  • There can be no logos, advertisements, or text
Benefits of the "It's A Wrap" program:
Cities, Counties, and Neighborhoods around the globe have embraced similar beautification art programs with fantastic results.  These pieces of art help to:
  • Spread art and culture
  • Encourage a sense of pride in one's community
  • Creating more vibrant, attractive places
  • Deter "tagging" and other disruptive, non-artistic graffiti
  • Supports local artists
