Ritz Theater Presents: Summer Camps & Musical Delights for Youth
Sanford, FL - Embrace the magic of theater this summer with the Ritz Theater's exciting lineup of camps and musical productions, tailored especially for youth.
Junior Camp Directed by Barb Kellar June 24-28, 2024 (9am-2pm)
Calling all aspiring performers in grades first through fifth. Join us for a dynamic 5-day Junior Musical Camp where creativity knows no bounds. Whether it's your first step onto the stage or you're a seasoned theater camper, this camp promises an unforgettable journey into the world of musical theater. From learning theater basics to mastering songs and dances from beloved musicals, our campers will shine like stars. Parents, pack those lunchboxes and get ready for a showcase performance on Friday, June 28th at 1pm. Tuition: $200 per student.
Senior Camp Directed by Jamaal Solomon July 8-26, 2024 (9am-3pm)
Step into the spotlight with our 15-day Senior Musical Camp, designed for students entering grades sixth through twelfth. Immerse yourself in the captivating world of theater production as we bring Anastasia the Youth Edition to life. From auditions to rehearsals, and technical assistance to the grand finale performance, this camp is your chance to shine on stage. Don't miss the opportunity to be part of something extraordinary. Tuition: $400 per student.
Scholarships Available! The Ritz Theater is proud to offer scholarships to deserving youths from Seminole County. If you're a family residing in Seminole County and meet the Florida Income Eligibility Guidelines, apply now for a chance to subsidize camp tuition. Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Scholarship funding is provided by Helpful Hands, Inc. and Sanford’s PorchFest.
