The Seminole Cultural Arts Council (SCAC) Announces 2019 heART for the ARTS Award to Sheila Kramer The Seminole Cultural Arts Council (SCAC) Board of Directors has recognized SHEILA KRAMER with the 2019 heART for the ARTS Award in appreciation of her continuing commitment to the advancement of the arts and culture in our community. SHEILA KRAMER has long been recognized as a partner of SCAC by promoting its programs in her monthly magazines: Lake Mary Life, Altamonte-Wekiva Springs Life, and Oviedo-Winter Springs Life. By offering free advertising space in those publications, she has provided in-kind donations totaling thousands of dollars. she has given priority to coverage of a wide range of historical, art and culture events from intimate artist profiles to feature articles regarding Seminole County Public Schools productions and exhibits, theaters, galleries, and other arts venues. The 2019 heART for the ARTS Award was presented to SHEILA KRAMER at a Gala from 6:30 to 9:30 PM on Saturday, February 9th at Mercedes-Benz of North Orlando, 1100 Rinehart Road in Sanford. The event featured food and wine tastings from more than a dozen local restaurants, a silent auction, photo booth, an art gallery area, and live entertainment: Evolution dance band; Phantasmagoria, the critically acclaimed Steampunk/Gothic Victorian music and acting troupe; and the Weldon Street Jazz Band.
