The Seminole Cultural Arts Council (SCAC) 2018 Annual Membership and Community Meeting
 
The Seminole Cultural Arts Council (SCAC) will hold its annual meeting at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, September 4th at the Wayne Densch Performing Arts Center, 201 S. Magnolia Avenue in Sanford.
 
Installation of the Board of Directors and Executive Officers will be conducted by Mr. Wayne Weinberg:  Saulius Jankauskas, MD (President); Casselberry Commissioner Anthony Aramendia (Vice President); Josie Foranoce (Secretary); Steve Nelson (Treasurer); Mary Blake; Seminole County Commissioner Bob Dallari; Charles Holcomb; Melanie Mucario, Esq.; Cheryl Ann Murphy; Nicholas Murphy; School Board Member Abby Sanchez; Bonnie Sprung; Stephen Summers, Ph.D.; and Kathryn Townsend.

Introductions will be made of the 2018 Seminole County Artist of the Year, Mr. John DiDonna, and representatives from the City of Casselberry who received the 2018 group heART for the Arts Award.

Recipients of 2018-19 SCAC grant funds will also be recognized:  Central Florida Community Arts; Johnson Hill-Washington Heights Community Outreach; Love Your Shorts Film Festival; St. Johns River Festival of the Arts; St. Luke's Church Concert Series; Steinway Society; Wayne Densch Performing Arts Center; and Historic Sanford Welcome Center-Sanford Art Walk.

Guests are invited to join board members, artists, elected officials, business partners, SCAC members, and leaders of local arts and cultural organizations in a meet-&-greet. This event is free and open to the public.
